It’s true, frogs really do sit on logs. Our Frogs On A Log were inspired by the woodfrogs who “quack” their way through spring and summer in ponds and peat bogs all over Maine. These logs are crafted with our own Maine Maple-Smoked Sea Salt caramel, dipped in Latin American milk chocolate, and topped with a brightly-colored bittersweet chocolate Frogletier.

Tiny candy, big flavor

The froglets are tiny -- just a big bigger than a tadpole. Although they are delicious, the best part is the maple log. Please make a box of just the maple toffee!!!!

From our kitchen to yours

Kate Shaffer, artistic director and founder of Ragged Coast Chocolates, started making exquisite confections in her tiny, home kitchen on Isle Au Haut, Maine eight years ago. From truffles and caramels to cookbooks and baking mixes, Kate and her husband Steve have grown the company far beyond its modest start into an award-winning and nationally-recognized purveyor of the finest chocolates in the world.
